  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 whole Onion, Chopped
  • 1 jar (24 Oz.) Your Favorite Pasta Sauce
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 2 cups Cottage Cheese, Low Fat
  • 1 teaspoon Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cups Skim Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • 2- 1/2 cups Zucchini, Sliced
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350F.

    In a large pan, saute the garlic and onion over medium heat until tender.

    Add tomato sauce and turkey.

    Cook until turkey has browned.

    Season with salt and pepper, if needed.

    Remove from heat.

    In a small bowl, beat the egg.

    Stir in cottage cheese, flour and 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.

    Pour 1/2 of meat sauce into a 9x13 casserole dish.

    Top with a layer of zucchini slices and cottage cheese mixture.

    Repeat layers.
