- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 large zucchini, cut in chunks
- 2 medium onions, sliced in thin rings
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 green peppers, chopped
- 1 large can tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato puree (paste)
- 1 large can (8 oz.) mushrooms
Directions

1Add ground chuck, zucchini, garlic, peppers and onions in large Dutch oven.

2Cook slowly for 15 minutes, stirring frequently.

3Add the remaining ingredients.

4Cook until thick, approximately 2 hours.

5May be served on Italian bread as a covered sandwich.
