- 3/4 c. shredded carrot
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 2 3/4 c. plain croutons
- 1 can cream of mushroom or celery soup
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. margarine
Directions

1Saute vegetables in 3 tablespoons margarine.

2Combine remaining ingredients, reserving 3/4 cup croutons.

3Spoon into 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Top with reserved croutons tossed with remaining melted margarine.

5Cover; bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

6Remove cover and continue baking 10 minutes.
