- 1/4 c. each: black-eyed peas, pinto beans, navy, red beans, limas, white, split peas, lentils and barley
- 2 qt. water
- 2 stalks celery
- 3 carrots
- 1 can tomatoes
- onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- chili powder
- salt and pepper
Directions

1In a large pot, soak beans overnight.

2Drain and rinse.

3Bring beans to boil in 2 quarts water.

4Reduce heat; simmer for 2 1/2 hours.

5Add the remaining ingredients; simmer for 30 minutes. Serves 16 people.
