"100" Sugar Cookies

  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. soft butter or margarine
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 4 1/4 c. flour

Directions

    Cream sugars, butter or margarine, oil, eggs, vanilla, salt, soda, and cream of tartar.

    Add flour one cup at a time, mixing well after each cup.

    Freeze dough and keep frozen between batches.

    Roll dough into small balls.

    Place on cookie sheet. Press each cookie with the bottom of a glass dipped in granulated sugar.

    Bake at 375° for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. If cookies are not made too large, this will make 100 or more cookies.
