- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. soft butter or margarine
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 4 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Cream sugars, butter or margarine, oil, eggs, vanilla, salt, soda, and cream of tartar.

2Add flour one cup at a time, mixing well after each cup.

3Freeze dough and keep frozen between batches.

4Roll dough into small balls.

5Place on cookie sheet. Press each cookie with the bottom of a glass dipped in granulated sugar.

6Bake at 375° for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. If cookies are not made too large, this will make 100 or more cookies.
