  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. cake flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk

Directions

    Cream the shortening and sugar at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add vanilla extract and eggs. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.

    Add to creamed mixture with milk.

    Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 370° for 20 to 25 minutes.
