  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3 c. oatmeal and wheat germ, mixed
  • 3/4 c. powdered milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Directions

    Melt butter over low heat; add oatmeal mixture and stir.

    Add other ingredients and mix well with your hands.

    It will be stiff.

    Put a bowl of water on table and use it to wet your hands before you shape cookies.

    Roll cookies into small balls or other shapes.

    Put cookies on lightly buttered cookie sheet; flatten and bake 10 to 12 minutes in 350° oven or eat cookies right away.
