  • 2 cubes margarine
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. sour milk
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Simmer to boiling the margarine, cocoa and water.

    Blend together in a large bowl the flour, sugar, soda, sour milk and eggs.

    Add chocolate mixture to flour mixture.

    Bake cake in a 17 x 11-inch jelly roll pan (any smaller and cake will run over). Bake at 325° for 15 minutes.

    Bake 5 minutes more while you make frosting.

    Frost the cake immediately after removing from oven.
