- 1 head lettuce, torn into small pieces
- 6 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
- 1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
- sugar, salt and pepper
Directions

1In bottom of large bowl, place 1/2 of lettuce.

2Sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper.

3Layer eggs on top of lettuce.

4Stand some of the egg slices around the edge, if desired.

5Sprinkle generously with salt.

6Next, layer in order peas, remaining lettuce, bacon and cheese.

7Spread mayonnaise over top, sealing to edge of bowl.

8Cover and refrigerate overnight.

9Toss before serving.
