  • 1 (16 oz.) can green beans (straight cut)
  • 1 (16 oz.) can yellow wax beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, washed and drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can garbanzo beans
  • 1 large green pepper, cut in small pieces
  • 1 large onion (preferably purple) cut in fine pieces
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 c. wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix the sugar, salad oil, vinegar and salt in a jar and when well mixed pour over the beans, pepper and onions which were combined in a large bowl.

    Marinate overnight, stirring occasionally.
