- 1 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 3 1/2 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 tsp. vanilla/butternut flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring (I use more of the flavorings)
Directions

1Cream shortening with sugar for 5 minutes (this is very important).

2Add eggs, one at a time.

3Add flour with salt alternately with milk.

4Add flavorings.

5Beat well.

6Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325° in a tube pan that has been greased on the bottom only.

7Cool 5 minutes and remove from pan.
