- 1 stick melted butter or margarine
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. instant chocolate pudding
Directions

1Mix together first 3 ingredients and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

2Bake at 300° for 20 to 25 minutes.

3Cool.

4Beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar together and fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip. Spread this on cooled crust.

5Make pudding according to package directions except use 1/2 cup less milk than called for.

6Pour over cream cheese mixture.

7Spread remaining Cool Whip over chocolate layer.

8May grate chocolate to sprinkle on top.

9Makes 20 to 24 squares.
