- 1 pound Beef Sirloin Tips
- 1 cup Beef Broth
- 2 teaspoons Grated Fresh Ginger
- 2 cloves Garlic, Crushed
- 4 teaspoons Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Mirin
- 1 bunch Scallions
- 1 can Sliced Water Chestnuts
- 1 can Bamboo Shoots
- 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 2 Tablespoons Water
Directions

1Slice beef into thin strips, about 1 1/2 inches long.

2Place in the crock pot along with broth, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and mirin.

3Thinly slice the white-to-pale-green part of the scallions and add them to the pot.

4Chop the rest into 1-inch pieces and reserve.

5Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.

6Half an hour before serving, add the remaining scallions, water chestnuts, and bamboo shoots.

7Mix the cornstarch with water and stir into the pot.

8Cover and cook for half an hour.

9Serve over rice and fresh steamed broccoli.
