  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 4 c. plain flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 2 c. blackberry jam
  • 1 c. strawberry jam
  • 1 c. pear preserves
  • 2 c. chopped nuts

    Mix eggs, sugar, buttermilk and butter together.

    Add soda and spices.
