  • 2 lb. stew meat, browned slightly in skillet or under broiler
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 to 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 can tomato soup or 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 10 oz. can beef bouillon
  • salt and pepper to taste
