  • 2 lb. beef stew (raw)
  • 1/2 c. white or rye bread, broken into small pieces
  • 1 c. celery, cut up
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca
  • 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes (liquid included)
  • 3 onions, cut up
  • 6 carrots, cut up

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in large covered casserole.

    Put in a 250° oven and forget it for 5 hours or until meat is tender.

    It gets nice and brown and is delicious.
