  • 6 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 c. Karo syrup
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except vanilla, in a saucepan, stirring well.

    Cook to 240°, using a candy thermometer, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat; add vanilla.

    Beat with a mixer until it forms peaks.

    Pour into a buttered pan.
