  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 5 eggs
  • 3/4 c. 7-Up
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract

Directions

    Cream the sugar, margarine and shortening.

    Add flour alternately with 7-Up.

    Beat in eggs, one at a time.

    Add flavorings.

    Bake in well-greased and floured Bundt tube pan at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until golden.

    Cool in pan. Sift confectioners sugar over cool cake, if desired.

    This makes a delicious cake on the consistency of pound cake.
