- 1 lb. butter or softened margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. cake flour, sifted
- 3/4 c. 7-Up
- 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring or your choice of flavoring
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Cream butter or margarine; add sugar and mix well.

3Add eggs one at a time (mix well after each egg); add sifted cake flour, 1 cup at a time.

4Add 7-Up, 1/4 cup at a time and mix well.

5Add vanilla flavoring or your choice and mix completely.

6Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done in Bundt cake pan or round spring cake pan.

7Check cake with toothpick to make sure middle is done.
