- 3 sticks butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 extra large eggs
- 3 c. flour, plain
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. cold 7-Up
- 2 to 3 tsp. lemon extract
Directions

1Sift flour with baking powder and set aside.

2Preheat to 325°.

3Cream soft butter and sugar together.

4Add one egg at a time beating well after each egg.

5Add flour and baking powder a little at a time.

6When all flour mixture is added, beat well. Add 7-Up and lemon extract a little at a time until it is all added.

7Beat for 3 to 4 minutes on medium high speed.

8Bake in a bundt pan greased with Crisco and sprinkled with sugar.

9Bake for 1 hour, or until cake tester comes out clean.
