Ingredients

  • 7 oz. 7-Up
  • 1/4 lb. marshmallows (15 large)
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 1/2 c. crushed pineapple (do not drain)
  • 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 pt. cream, whipped
  • 2/3 c. mayonnaise
  • maraschino cherries

Directions

    Combine 7-Up and marshmallows.

    Stir over low heat until marshmallows melt.

    Add lime gelatin to hot mixture.

    Beat cream cheese well and add to gelatin mixture.

    Whip thoroughly.

    Add pineapple and chopped walnuts.

    Chill until partially congealed. Combine mayonnaise with whipped cream and fold into gelatin. Garnish with maraschino cherries.

    Refrigerate several hours before serving.

    Cool Whip may be substituted for whipped cream.
