Ingredients
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
Directions

1Mix 1/4 cup flour, salt and dry yeast.

2Heat milk, oleo and water to 120° (until oleo melts).

3Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed with mixer.

4Add 1/4 cup flour and beat at high speed 2 minutes.

5Stir in only enough more flour to handle (the secret is to keep the dough as soft as possible to handle).

6On flour board, knead about 2 to 3 minutes.

7Make into rolls (about 12 pieces).

8Place in greased 8-inch pan.

9Pour 1-inch depth boiling water into large pan.

10Place on bottom rack of stove. Set rolls on rack above water and cover.

11Let rise for 30 minutes in closed oven.

12Turn oven on to 375°.

13Remove pan of water and uncover rolls.

14Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
