- 1 lb. stew beef
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. A.1. steak sauce
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- egg noodles
Directions

1Brown beef in 2 tablespoons margarine.

2Take beef from skillet.

3Add to the same skillet, the remaining margarine and cook mushrooms and onion until tender.

4Return meat to skillet; add water and steak sauce; heat to a boil.

5Reduce to low.

6Simmer 50 to 60 minutes until tender.

7Stir in sour cream and serve over noodles.
