  • 2 3/4 cups flour Fine
  • 5 tablespoons yogurt
  • 5 tablespoons warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • ghee or butter to apply.

Directions

    Add warm water, sugar and yeast. Mix well until the yeast dissolves.

    Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Make a well in the center.

    Add yeast mixture and yogurt and make into soft dough using water.

    Apply oil on the dough leave it covered with a cloth for at least 3 hours.

    Divide the dough making balls, about 4-6 pieces. Roll into 6-8 inch ovals shape.

    Cook for three minutes on each side under a preheated griddle,

    until brown spots appears.

    Serve hot with ghee or butter.
