Ingredients

  • 1 lb. top round, cut 1/4-inch thick into 1/2-inch wide strips
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
  • 1 can beef consomme
  • 1/2 c. Sauterne
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 10 oz. noodles, cooked
  • 2 (8 oz.) cartons sour cream

Directions

    Saute beef and onions in oil.

    Add mushrooms, consomme, Sauterne and seasonings.

    Simmer for 1 hour.

    Add cooked noodles and sour cream.

    Bake for 45 minutes at 350°.

    Serves 4 to 6.
