- 1 c. rice, cooked
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
- 1/2 c. grated carrots
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 small can peas or green beans
Directions

1Mix all the rice, melted butter, cheese and carrots together and add the slightly beaten egg.

2Put in a buttered casserole pan or dish.

3Bake in a 350° oven, uncovered, for 45 minutes.

4Turn out on a warm dish or platter.

5Make a hole in the center and pour in peas or beans.

6A tasty and colorful dish.
