Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 pkg. frozen greens (collards, mustard and/or turnips)
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 2 to 3 chicken wings
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. water

Directions

    Fry bacon and chicken wings until brown; remove and drain. Put greens in seasoned oil from meats.

    Put in onion; place bacon, etc. on top of greens and cook for 1 hour.

    Mix other ingredients together; stir.

    Pour over greens and mix.

    Simmer 10 minutes.
