- 4 c. flour
- 4 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. warm water
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add shortening, sugar, flour and milk; mix and knead.

3Roll out and cut into biscuits.

4Place into pan and let rise, about 1 hour.

5Bake at 475° until done. Makes 16 to 20 biscuits.
