- 1 c. heavy or whipping cream
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. (1/4 stick) butter
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Heat cream to boiling. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in 1/4 cup Parmesan.

2Add butter, a little at a time, stirring as you add. Add salt and pepper.

3Makes 1 1/4 cups sauce, enough for 1/2 pound of pasta.

4Sprinkle the other 1/4 cup Parmesan over pasta.
