- 1 c. all-bran
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 cake yeast
- 2 whole eggs
- 1 c. lukewarm water for yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. lard
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Pour 1 cup boiling water over bran and sugar.

2Add yeast to the other cup lukewarm water until dissolved.

3Add to other ingredients, then eggs.

4Add flour and beat thoroughly.

5Place in refrigerator overnight or make at 6 for 12 noon.

6Roll out, cut and let rise 3 hours.

7Bake at 425° until done.
