  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 can brown gravy
  • 1 large onion
  • carrots and potatoes

Directions

    Salt and pepper roast and brown, uncovered, at 400° for 45 to 55 minutes in a deep roasting pan.

    Add onion soup mix, 3 cups boiling water and brown gravy to make gravy.

    Add onion, carrots and potatoes, cut up, to pan.

    Cover.

    Turn oven to 225°; let cook for the day.
