- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 1/2 cup blanched almond, chopped
Directions

1Add sugar to the beaten eggs and beat until very thick.

2Add sifted flour with the baking powder.

3Blend in the chopped almonds and mix well.

4Place in a greased loaf pan and bake 45 minutes in a preheated moderate oven (375°).

5Frost with a powdered-sugar glaze if so desired.
