- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 3/4 c. almonds
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Line a cookie sheet with foil; coat with cooking spray.

2Cook sugar and corn syrup in a 3-quart pan over medium-high heat to a soft crack stage, stirring constantly.

3Add almonds, butter and almond extract, stirring constantly.

4Cook 5 minutes longer, until mixture is golden.

5Stir in soda; mixture will become foamy.

6Pour onto cookie sheet; let stand 1 hour.

7Peel off candy and break into chunks.
