  • 1 quart whole milk
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup finely ground blanched almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure almond extract

    In a medium saucepan, bring the milk and honey to a simmer over moderate heat, stirring to dissolve the honey, about 4 minutes.
