- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. uncooked regular rice
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
Directions

1Combine water, broth and salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil and add rice.

2Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.

3Melt butter in a small skillet.

4Saute almonds in butter until lightly browned.

5Stir into rice.
