  • 1 cup sugar
  • 12 lb real butter
  • 14 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Karo syrup (white)
  • 12 lb blanched almond, chopped fine
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips

Directions

    Put first four ingredients in a pan and cook to hard crack stage (290), stirring constantly.

    Pour into buttered pie tin or 10 inch cake (round or square).

    Cool, turn out and break into pieces.
  4. 4
    Coat with melted chocolate chips and roll in nuts.
