- 1 lb. butter or margarine
- 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 lb. melted chocolate
- 4 Tbsp. water
- 1/4 to 1/2 lb. almonds, cut
- chopped walnuts
Directions

1Put butter in skillet and heat until bubbly but not brown.

2Add rest of ingredients except chocolate and cook over hot heat, stirring constantly until almonds are toasted through and sugar is light medium brown.

3Pour into 2 buttered pans (10 x 15-inches). Cool and spread with half the melted chocolate.

4Sprinkle with ground walnuts and let chocolate harden.

5Turn and repeat on other side.

6Break in pieces.
