- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. soda
- 3 eggs
- pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 lb. blanched almonds, chopped fine
Directions

1Follow directions for Baking Powder Biscuits (steps 1 to 6). Roll into oblong, 1/4 inch thick about 10 x 12-inch.

2Spread with soft butter lightly.

3Sprinkle with mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon.

4Roll up tightly lengthwise.

5Seal edges well.

6Cut into 12 equal parts about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick.

7Place each in a muffin cup (cut side down).

8Bake about 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown (set timer).

9Makes 12 cinnamon rolls.
