- 4 oz. pastry
- apricot jam
- 4 oz. almonds, sliced
- 2 oz. almond paste
- 2 oz. sugar
- 2 oz. margarine or butter
- 1 egg
- juice of lemon
Directions

1Cream together the margarine and sugar.

2Beat in eggs.

3Add almonds, paste and lemon juice.

4Use tart pans; cut pastry to fit. Fill each 1/2 full of mixture.

5Bake at 450° for 7 minutes. Reduce to 350°; bake for 30 minutes.

6Dust with sugar.

7On each tart, place dab of jam.
