  • 2 slices whole wheat bread or whole grain bread, toasted if needed
  • 1/2 tablespoon dijon mustard or your favorite mustard
  • 4 slices bacon, canadian style fat edges trimmed off if needed
  • 2 slices tomatoes vine-ripen or 1 slice steak tomato
  • 1 each lettuce leaves or any your favorite green

Directions

    Cook the Canadian bacon in a small nonstick skillet until both sides are browned, about 4 minutes.

    Meanwhile spread the dijon mustard over one slice of bread.

    Place the cooked bacon over the mustard.

    Top with tomato slices, lettuce and remaining slice of bread to make a sandwich.

    Serve.
