Ingredients
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 green pepper, cut in strips
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- pinch of oregano
- 1 (1 lb.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 c. water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide noodles (uncooked)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Saute onion, green pepper and butter.

2Add meat and lightly brown until meat is no longer pink.

3Add seasonings.

4Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and water.

5Heat mixture to boiling.

6Put in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

7Layer like lasagne.

8Place tomato sauce, meat mixture first, next uncooked noodles, then tomato sauce-meat and noodles (be sure noodles are well covered by sauce).

9Top with Mozzarella cheese.

10Cover with foil and bake in preheated 350° oven for 1 hour.

11Let set 10 minutes before cutting.

12Serves 10.
