- 1 lb. soup beans
- 1 ham bone
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- dash of garlic salt
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Soak beans in water overnight; drain.

2Add fresh water and cook slowly with the ham bone for 2 hours.

3Add onion, celery salt, seasoning salt, garlic salt, salt and pepper.

4Remove ham bone; trim off any meat and return to pot.

5Add ham bits and simmer for 1 hour.
