  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. plus little shortening
  • 1/3 c. ice cold water
  • 1 cold egg

Directions

    Cut shortening into first 3 ingredients, set aside.

    Mix last 2 ingredients well and add to flour mixture.

    If this seems too wet to work with, refrigerate until stiff.

    Makes 3 small or 2 large shells.
