Anchovy Turnovers

- 1 c. flour
- 1 small pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
- 1/2 c. (1/4 lb.) butter or margarine
- 1 tube anchovy paste
Directions

1Sift flour, measure and sift again into a mixing bowl.

2Cut in cream cheese and butter.

3Roll into a ball and chill for about 2 hours.

4Roll out dough 1/8-inch thick and cut into 2-inch rounds. Put about 1/4 teaspoon anchovy paste in the center of each round. Moisten edges and press together, turnover fashion.

5Prick tops. Place on a baking sheet and chill

6until serving time. Then bake in a moderately hot oven (375°) for 10 minutes.

7Serve at once. Makes about 5 1/2 dozen.
