Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb of grass-fed ground Angus beef (85/15)
  • 1/8 lb of ground Andouille sausage
  • 1 clove of miced garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 of an avocado from Mexico
  • 1/2 tbs of olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp of lemon juice
  • 1 slice of American cheese
  • 1 tbs of dried parsley
  • 1/2 tbs of mayo
  • 2 tsp of sea salt
  • 2 rings of a white onion

    For the avocado spread: In a small mixing bowl combine avaocado, olive oil, and lemon juice then using a masher incooperate for a few seconds. Add 1/2 of the minced clove of garlic, salt, and pepper and finish to a chunky consistancy.

    For the burger patty: In a larger mixing bowl, combine ground beef and sausage with the other half of the minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Combine all ingredients with your hands and form into 1 1/4 inch patty.

    Heat up a non-stick skillet or cast iron pan to Med-High.. Place patty and cook on each side for 3-4 minutes turning only once for a great crust. After both sides are crusted, flip to original side.

    Remove patty and set aside. Place the naked white onion rings in the burger pan to sweat them down for 30-35 seconds. Bring patty back to the pan topping it with the sweated onions and cheese. Cover to melt.

    Toast your bun of choice spreading mayo on the bottom bun once toasted. Place patty on bun, top with avocado chunk spread, top and enjoy!
