  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 5 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco

    Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar.

    Mix all together; store in closed bowl in refrigerator.

    Knead dough before making biscuits.
