  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 5 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. buttermilk

    Add yeast to warm water; let set while mixing other ingredients.

    Sift flour; add sugar and shortening.

    You can roll out immediately or place in refrigerator and use as needed.
