- 5 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Sift flour, soda, salt and baking powder together.

2Dissolve yeast in warm water.

3Add to flour mixture with Crisco and buttermilk.

4Mix well.

5Knead lightly on floured board.

6Wrap in see-through paper.

7Place in covered bowl in refrigerator.

8Use as needed.

9Bake in 400° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

10Dough will keep up to 2 weeks.
