  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 c. warm water

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Cut in Crisco.

    Add yeast and buttermilk to make soft dough.

    This does not need to rise before baking.

    Will keep in fridge up to 2 weeks.
