- 2 packages dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 3/4 cups oil
- 5 cups self-rising flour
- 2 cups buttermilk
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1 cup lukewarm water.

2Add sugar, salt, soda, oil, flour and buttermilk.

3Mix until consistency of rolls. Pinch off desired amount of dough.

4Roll into a biscuit.

5Place on baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
